Amba Eco (FOC) – lightweight leather saves money
Wollsdorf has probably developed the lightest aircraft leather in the world. Amba Eco (FOC) is about 40% lighter than conventional aviation leather while maintaining the same physical properties in regard to tensile strength and durability. This weight reduction allows our customers to not only save tonnes of fuel and therefore money but also decreases CO2 emissions. Renowned airlines trust our lightweight (chrome-free) aviation leather – about 200,000 airplane seats worldwide have already been equipped with Amba Eco (FOC).
Upon request, our aviation leather can also be enhanced with SPS finish (anti-soiling) or EVO+ (antibacterial surface protection).
