Low-emission leather guarantees that environmental and health-related burdens from the tanning process are minimised over the entire life-cycle until recycling or disposal. Furniture leather manufacturers can thereby simply and purposefully select low-emission furniture leather that does not pose a health risk to consumers.

Wollsdorf has once again earned the Blue Angel certificate for the furniture leather collection and can continue to display the ecolabel on its products.
The Blue Angel is highly significant worldwide since the certification follows strict criteria. The examination takes place every three to four years under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, thereby reflecting the current state of the art.
