The safety of drivers and passengers can never be sacrificed for the sake of design freedom. Based on our undercutting technique we are able to do without unappealing seams while still ensuring that the leather rips open at the predetermined breaking point. This special technology has revolutionised the design of leather airbags and has now been frequently deployed throughout the automotive industry: About 4,500 airbag covers leave the production line of Wollsdorf every day.
